Since the warning lamps indicate electrical problems, I think it is unlikely that a worn tumbler has anything to do with your issue, as long as all the tumblers will turn to allow the key to actuate the ignition switch.
It's possible that your ignition switch is developing problems, but since so many circuits pass through the switch, it seems unlikely that your only issues would be two intermittent warning lamps, but it's possible. You can test the switch at its electrical connector, which is inside the steering column cowl.
Both the seat belt warning lamp power and some bulb failure warning signals (direction indicator lamps) pass through the Body Processor Module (BPM). You might search this forum for reports of problems with the BPM. I think corrosion on the electrical connectors and water ingress have been reported. The BPM is mounted on the firewall/bulkhead behind the glove box, so it's a little bit of a job to access.
