Default What parts need to be reproduced?

The JEC is asking members what parts members would like/need to be remade so I am putting it out there, what should I be telling them?

I am going to say
Exhaust manifolds (unavailable)
Coils (quality/availability)
XJR6 MAF (unavailable)

So anything else?

Peter

I would suggest
Cabin air vents (usually for broken vane clips)
ABS Sensors
Key Fobs for both frequencies
Catalytic Converters (CARB compliant for mine)
Sunroof assembly or parts would be useful
Power Steering Pump
TPS Sensor

I'm sure there's more,

Center console Edge finisher, the rubber interface trim between ashtray and skijump.
Gearshift aperture finisher and Gearshift surround (with tabs that won't break!).

I'd take a plastic camcover at this point!

Plastic lock actuator pieces in the door. BEC8982 in particular

Door handle gaskets.

Window slider block GHD1744AA

Bonnet gasket HJF5240AB

Interior floor mats/carpets

Waist Seals (door to glass). Any remaining stock going for ridiculous prices, particularly for my black XJR 100 seals which can be priced at over $900 each!

Yes. I'm thinking of using some adhesive door sweeps from Home Depot! And I would if I could make it look right and without falling off.

Original style Key Fobs for both frequencies (this x1000%)

Sunroof assembly or parts known for breaking - ideally out of something stronger than plastic...

Here's my starter:-
Rear ABS sensors (they're only currently available for the very late x300s from VIN 801672 ) LNA2222AB LNA2223AB
Waist seals with black finish, front now unavailable - GNA1710BF GNA1711BF Rear still available but crazy prices - GNA2520BF GNA2521BF
Accelerator pedal pad CCC6762
Intermediate handbrake cable MNA5169AB
Centre Console Switch panel moulding (These are getting very brittle with age and the screw lugs break off) LNA6318AA/BA/CA/DA
XJR6 MAF LNA1620AA
XJR6 Throttle cable (Traction Control Actuator to Throttle Body section) for RHD vehicles. MNA4620LE
XJR6 Supercharger bypass actuator (These are starting to fail) NBD7703AA>NBD7703AB

Exhaust manifolds are still available from Aston Martin, the 1995-97 DB7 I6 uses the same manifolds. They are the same as X300 with EGR and Air Injection, these can be plugged for use on a car without it. Not cheap but could be worse!

Thanks Cafcpete for starting this thread.
Greta list everyone. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get parts for X300. I'm sure a number of cars are no no longer on the road for lack of parts.

For anyone needing to do a major engine rebuild, pistons will need to go on the list of part that it would be helpful for SNG Barratt to re-manufacture.
