Will stock 16 inch wheels from X308 fit X300?

Default Will stock 16 inch wheels from X308 fit X300?
The bolt pattern is allegedly the same, is the offset and hub diameter also the same? Can I use wheels from X308 on X300?

The front hubs are too long to fit the caps on unless you use the VDP wheels with the large diameter hub caps.

I guess you could NOT install the metal bearing caps and just put the wheel caps on????

This subject has been discussed AT LENGTH in similar posts.

Thanks Motorcarman. I didn't know that. I have these which is what I guess you mean by large hub caps.

The wheel bearing dust caps can be...um....reshaped to accommodate the X308 wheels. This field modification takes about 10 minutes per side.

I know at least one XJ40 owner has installed X308 Lunar wheels with the standard small Growler emblem center caps. When I asked him about it he didn't mention any modifications required, but perhaps he had to reshape the bearing caps as Doug mentions.
