X300 3.2 aircon compressor
Hi guys
I'm trying to find a replacement AC compressor for my x300 3.2. The part number should be MNA7300AB. However, I tried looking up ebay and found out there are different compressors for different models - 4.0, 6.0 etc. Do you guys have any sources on a good (aftermarket) compressor? Doesn't have to be genuine jaguar one as it's quite expensive. I recently found an aftermarket one (don't know the manufacturer) in Australia but it's still not cheap - USD400. Or perhaps I can get a Denso one? Thanks |
Look on the compressor for the Denso part number
Off the top of my head is a 10PA17 https://www.shopcenturyautoair.com/s...mpressors.html :icon_dance-disco: The website also has clutch coils other the replacing the whole clutch as well as the main compressor bearing Once you have it apart you can see if you have a broke piston rod The engine will run fine without the AC belt during repairs The AC belt idler pulley long adjustment bolt can be frozen with rust so the whole assembly can be removed to free up the bolt on a bench There is a self test on the X300 AC control panel before taking the AC system apart :icon_dance-disco: http://www.jagrepair.com/images/TSB/...stem%20DTC.pdf The dryer is recommended to be replaced $ 35 US , how old is yours ? |
