X300 Cassette Head Unit Repair Companies?
Hi everyone,
I think I've seen one somewhere but I can't find any now!
Are there any companies (ideally in the UK but elsewhere is fine) that repair the LCD display on the Cassette head unit in the X300?
This is the one on the premium sound system.
The liquid is slowly descending from the top of the display
I have come across a company in the US on EBay that sell repaired units but those were about £400.
Also as the car is only driven every so often the radio facia is still like new and of course you don't know how much wear you'll get on the replacements if you order one.
I know of a company in the UK that repair the clock units but it looks like they don't touch the radios/head units.
Many thanks

I have similar problems before. Had wanted to find a repair shop in the UK as mine has the security code, but a very popular shop told me that LCD display replacement units were no longer available so they won't do radio repairs. Eventually I found a US repair shop on eBay, called "CarRadioRepairs", which did a good job and all has been well.
