XJR/6 5-speed on Ebay
Does this car belong to anyone here? Does anyone know this car? There can't be that many XJR/6 5-speed conversions in the USA

Ric in RVA ,
Resistance is futile :
Resistance is futile :
Soon it will wash over you and you can be one with a supercharged engine with 133 k miles and your better looking Penta 18 " wheels with a stick shift in your hand ..
Not too far away to check it out and Mr . Q in Kong Kong can advise you along with your skill sets on the conversion being correct .
You can play with it for awhile and is still very marketable after that point . Depends if you get enough allowance from your significant other .

A manual transmission transforms the XJR6. As the factory manual was never sold in the US, a DIY conversion is your only option to experience a manual XJR6. If the car is as good as it looks, you couldn't buy an original RHD one for the equivalent price in the UK. someone has to want this car.

AL NZ and I both have the converted manual XJR and can testify that the manual transmission totally transforms the car; the supercharger whine on a manual XJR is very intoxicating. The secret for a peace-of-mind motoring in a converted manual XJR is to remap the ECU as the configuration is different from the auto version. Also need to source parts for the manual XJR because they are very rare now or no longer produced. Examples are the clutch and slave master cylinders, the bushings for under-link of the stick shift tower. Being an XJR, also try to look for the MAF which is no longer available new; after-market MAF by WorldCraParts has just come in stock (LNA1620AA).

Very tempting...
I like that the car has been maintained well, remained stock (e.g. radio) and the conversion looks like it was done per factory.
Definitely hope someone that is a Jaguar aficionado picks it up versus someone who will just abuse it. Given the price, which isn't too terrible, I think that will drive it toward someone who will take care of it.

If the list of work done shown in the listing can be verified, there really isn't much a new owner needs to fix, and, speaking from experience, the asking price is actually very modest given the gearbox-conversion and range of restoration work done and done well so far. The XJR wheels and tires are in great shape too. If the buyer is a perfectionist, apart from the few things I mentioned in post #6 above, he/she may want to think about, sometime down the road, rebuilding the calipers, the supercharger, finding a new radiator, having a crankshaft position sensor as spare (as insurance for misfire and non-start) along with Andy's bracket for improve performance and fuel economy, some good used or new ignition coils, a new set of Champion C12YCC spark plugs (the "lawn mower plugs"), and, above all, an engine ECU remapped by Andy to wipe out any potential problems arising from the auto-to-manual conversion, taking into account the regional difference in emission control, for the peace of mind. The condition of the driver seat is very common due to age, and fortunately leather in black is easy to match even if going for a patch fix.

Not the same XJR, the manual one might have been sold or retained by the seller. That one was a gem as it even has the original manual shift gear knob in original leather wrap. As for the other one found by Don, it is in pretty good shape as well but it has auto transmission. It does not have the leaper on the hood but the replacement looks a bit unconventional :
