XJR100 for sale in Apex, NC
I know it isn't an X300, but thought someone might find it interesting and maybe something they've been looking for, especially since so few were imported to the US.
Used Jaguar Dealer Raleigh Apex Cary NC Hard To Find Jaguars For Sale
Used 2002 Jaguar XJR for Sale in Raleigh NC 27523 Val EuroSport
BTW, it is listed on eBay also.
It is just up the road from me, so I think I'll drop by and check it out just to see what one looks like in person.
Still happy with my 97
P.S.
Did the fender side marker lights on the X308 that has the "leaper" gray emblem light up like our side markers? Or is it just a non-lighted badge?

Nope. They just sit there, like Tar-Baby. IIRC, the wiring is still there, and you can replace them with lights...but I'm not entirely sure about that.

Hrmm, I have no idea what the market is for an XJR100 *shrug*
A regular 2002 XJR with 67k miles from a dealer in "good or better" comes in around $10k and that price for private seller in "excellent" condition according to KBB. Of course, that isn't for an XJR100 however. In theory that could command a premium for a collector/enthusiast.

$25K for as near as makes no difference a 12 yr old X308? I'd say Val's smoking some prime NC cash-crop, and I don't mean flu-cured tobacco!!! Still, I guess I wouldn't be surprised if he gets it, but I don't believe the intrinsic value of the car, nice though it is, supports the price. I'd guess the X308's top out in true-market-value somewhere around $8k-$10K in pristine condition. XJR100 something of a specialty item, but not 2.5 times special!

Yep, seems high to me too.
Yeah, I tend to agree. And the market will surely decide
A quick search of completed listings on eBay show an XJR100 in Illinois selling for $5400 back in May, but it also had 153k miles on it.
They may be rare numerically, but another quick search on AutoTrader, turned up three more:
Cars for Sale: 2002 Jaguar XJR 100 in Glendale, CA 91202: Sedan Details - 297414451 - AutoTrader.com
19k miles, $35k
Cars for Sale: 2002 Jaguar XJR 100 in San Francisco, CA 94110: Sedan Details - 361208672 - AutoTrader.com
87k miles, $13.5k
Cars for Sale: 2002 Jaguar XJR in Tarpon Springs, FL 34689: Sedan Details - 372868458 - AutoTrader.com
100k miles, $15k
Sooo, hrmm, seems like folks think they are worth quite bit beyond a standard X308 XJR .....
