xjr6 85mm ID throttle body adapter

One other question Jeremiah:
You had mentioned several troubleshooting issues with high idle, etc immediately after installing the larger TB such as fuel trims.
But it appears that once it was all sorted, the only two actual steps/modifications required are:
1) Have maxbore.com bore out the OEM XJR throttle body to ~80mm, and they provide and install a new appropriately sized butterfly - $125
2) Have a shop equipped with the correct diagnostic tools reset the throttle position potentiometer ECU reading to the new closed position. I would assume no more than an hour shop time?
Did I miss anything?

You are correct, and the idle need only be reset if necessary. I have taken my over sized tb off and replaced it with a stock one, only because it works great for speed but not so great in every day traffic as the car really wants to go. You need to be careful but once you become accustomed to the new feel of the car its all good. I did not make any changes to the tb adapter only the tb and it bolts right on, look how huge the opening is compared to stock. I have now switched directions and am going to change the diff, so if anyone is interested the tb is available.
