1998 XJ X308 dent removal
Howdy fellas....I am a bout to tackle a large dent in the front part of my right hand side front fender/guard.
I have thought about this and the best way to tackle it will be to remove the fender/guard
As I look at it, there are 7 bolts to remove....are there any other hidden ones I should know about?
I will also remove the front bumper and the plastic scuttle shield at base of front screen for general cleanup
seeing as it's been 20 years since these have been disturbed and I would like to see if there is any crud or corosion
down in the drainage area....I have heard this can be a problem sometimes.
Any info will be greatly appreciated ;o))

There's the bolts along the top which are probably the seven you mention, plus two /three right where your dent is, but beneath the bumper, plus I think two behind the wheel arch, under the lining. Personally I'd try getting another wing and getting it sprayed up. They aren't very expensive at all. That could allow you to perfect your dent removal at leisure also. I think that's all there are. Remove the two big bolts for the front bumper so you can slide it forwards and off. Might be nice to put a cover on the floor to prevent scratches first.
