Default ABS and Trac Control on '03 XJR

Has anyone out there experienced intermittent illumination of these two lights? Has anyone heard of poorly soldered connections on the ABS sending trash info back to the CAN.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can throw my way.

Speed sensors or bad solder joints are the common issues, plenty of threads here found w/ a search.

I have never diagnosed a faulty speed sensor (except when a wheel bearing fails and destroys it) but I have replaced MANY link harnesses.

I have never cleaned a speed sensor or reluctor ring to repair a fault in the ABS system. (grease does not affect the pulses)

The modules themselves can fail with a HARD FAULT (C1145,C1155,C1165,C1175) internally and will NOT clear. (mostly the C1155)

The solder joints for the PUMP MOTOR can fail.

You can just guess about what is wrong with the system or you can get the actual DTCs. I like to get the DTCs so I don't waste time and money chasing 'what-ifs' and 'maybes'.

Let the guessing begin.

In my case, Icarsoft i930 (although not very good overall) told me clearly that I had "Power to ABS motor intermittent", or something like that. So, I new straight away what to fix.

C1095 is the DTC for the poor solder joints on the circuit board.
