Does anyone have fronr and rear XJR suspension currently taken off of their car? Front and rear struts as well as springs. I need some measurements if you do. Or if anyone is selling stock suspension like that, I can buy it for the right price.

 

Has your car got C.A.T.S suspension, sport or comfort ???


What measurements are you seeking ???


I am due to drop my front subframe out, due to some rot in the chassis leg, depending on what dimensions you are after I may be able to help.


But please be aware that MY car is a UK spec XJR with C.A.T.S , so if you are after spring rates/ ride height etc, mine is totally different to a US spec.

 

I should have mentioned it in the beginning...my fault. Unfortunately I do not have the CATS system.

Measurements I need:

-Front strut overall length
-Front strut BODY length
-Rear strut overall length
-Rear strut BODY length
-Front and Rear Strut Lower mount hole diameter, width and spacing
-Front spring length
-Front spring inner and outer diameter
-Rear spring length
-Rear spring inner and outer diameter

Any help is appreciated!

 

As is often the case... I still had the old front bushes from my shocks, up until about three weeks ago.


You lot all know the score... at SOME point you have to tidy up, and run some of the IT WILL COME IN HANDY stuff to the recyclers... give you two guesses where they are!


As far as my spring measurements go, as I said before, MY car is UK spec, so therefore about an inch, maybe an inch and an eighth lower ride height than US spec.


Therefore my shock free and compressed length will be different, sorry.

Can't tell you how many times I have done that. Clean up the garage, then a week later F*%& where is such and such!! Never fails!
