As some may already know, I just purchased my first XJ8 the other day. I love the car but less than 24 hours from the time I bought it I was disappointed by my local Jag Dealer.

To avoid them for some of the other pieces needed I searched C-list and Fleabay. I found a fresh ad for Jaguar XJ8 Parts that was 15 miles from me so I called the guy.

When I got there I found the wrecked car had 69,000 miles on it and was missing the wheels, engine, front clip and tail lamps. It was burried in snow and I did not feel like freezing while I unbolted what I needed so I struck a deal on the whole car. 2 hours later it was in my driveway up on blocks.

I'll get a couple more wheels so I can roll it in the garage and finish dismantling her.

I now have everything I needed for my car except the windshield.

It was a good day!
