Default Bringing the Daimler Corsica to life

Found this website along with the photos of when they modified the car to operate. This is probably better suited for the X300 section but I reckon other X308 people would enjoy it just as I did. note the small link at the bottom of the page to proceed on to further pages

Dave know's his stuff, one of the tech guys for the JEC, and a nice helpful guy too.

The Corsica should have been built to order. I liked the trans/floor/door work. Made me think a 308 coupe was possible....

If you go through all 5 pages it is amazing at all the work it took to bring this car to full function.

Wonderful!

Sean B, you are a bad man, putting evil thoughts in my head. Read your comment about a 308 coupe and thought what a good idea, I mean how hard can it be???
you only have to shorten the rear doors, lengthen the front doors, move the B pillar, have new side glass custom made, make the front seats tilt.( maybe XK8 seats will fit and work ) Oh wait forgot about all the custom trim panels for the doors, tread plates etc... Would the central locking still work with only 2 doors? suppose you could leave the rears still fitted... then I assume it would have to go for an SVA test! So only 2/3 years of weekends then. She who must be obeyed already thinks I prefer the XJR to her. Just out of curiosity do you know of anyone who does custom curved glass?

The glass was the dealbreaker, £4000 was my best quote.
