coolant colors - red vs orange
 

hi all...just checking things out and decided to take out some coolant fluid and give it a look...fIled two jars...the one on the left is red and from the car the other is orange and straight out of a brand new bottle of coolant....any idea why mine is so red?

The coolant does get darker when it has been in the car -- I just added some to mine today ... the new is bright .. almost iridescent.

Is that the Jaguar coolant at 100% -- mine is a bit more pink/ orange at 50%.

Mine is in the white Jaguar Jug so not as easy to tell ... and I did not spend much time looking at it ... it is an odd color. Not the red and pink of the Japanese coolants

What brand are you using?
