Default Save or scrap

Looking at buying this 98 VDP that apparently still runs. Stupid question but is this savable for let's say under 1k if I had all the parts I need. It's under 700$ so idk might be a fun project

if the rest of the car is a 9 or 8, and if you can find the equipmentt, give it a shot plenty! My 98 had a broken timing chain and did not run, but the rest was a good 8. I paid $1,000, figuring I could part it out if I had to. The shop wanted $2,500 to do the work....too much.

Just saw the "drugseizure" on the ad site. Maybe there are Krugerrands hidden in the oil pan.

I scrapped my limited edition XJR 100 with a better condition than this one, it is not economical to save/repair this one.
