I have a 1998 xj8 it has 63000 original miles havent driven it in over a year but i was starting the car regularly letting it run i hadnt started it in the past 3 months so i attemted to do so yesterday but it wouldnt turn over so i bought a new baterry now its turning over just fine but still wont start any ideas of what the problem may be ... ive never had any issues with the car starting ..

 

You've posted in the wrong forum. If you look at the forum title you'll see it is for the X350/358 series from 2003 up to 2009. Your car is totally different apart from its similar style
