I believe that would've been a dealer option.. not from the factory.But my bet is that the wheels were chromed, and the first owner bought it from the dealership floor as it was.

 

What wheels are those and what is the offsett? I'm a sucker for deep dish wheels.

XJ8 Sport - Summer set-up

 

My own personal opinion, and not just because I have one but, the X308 XJR looks its best in black. They're just sex on wheels.

 

I have a silver one and I agree black is the best color

 

Silver was my least favourite colour choice when shopping for an XJ. Have gotten to where I really appreciate it. Like black on black, silver on black is timeless. On the other hand, silver always looks clean, and silver keeps the car cool in the sunlight. And looks great!

 

Beautiful color. Photos came out fine. Would love to see it up closer though.

Aaah, yes the coveted XJR 100 is nothing short of marvelous. Beautiful machine.

 

Hahaha, I've noticed that these vehicles have appeared in numerous films usually being driven by the badies and/or being used as luxury limousines. I've certainly noticed that in almost all James Bond films, there is an X308 somewhere in the film.

 

I hate coming back here and seeing your car because it makes me miss mine greatly.
