The long in the tooth (literally & visually lol) current set-up is unsightly to me. Has anybody had success using a new style mast.

 

Some have installed hidden antennas, check in the XK8 section for this mod.

You can also put a short, non-motorized modern antenna on the car, but the connectors for the Jag are different. Someone solved this problem, a search will probably bring up some solutions.
