Default Need help with engine noise

I have had a strange noise on my 00 XJR's engine for a while and was told its just the injectors ticking. I figured I would post a video and see what you guys thought.

It only makes this noise when the cars warmed up you cannot hear it on cold start and it sounds like its coming from the passenger side 3rd cylinder back from the front, right where the injectors are. The drivers side injector area is really quiet compared to the passenger side.

The car drives great and pulls fine no engine lights or warning at all. The only thing the car does is the occasional very slight miss but this is rare.

The video is not the best I could try and get a better one if needed, the noise is most noticeable when the camera is under the car.

In your video, it sounds like an exhaust leak.

+1 to NBCat....I would check the EGR gasket at the exhaust also.

A word to note...noise can travel easily in an engine bay. I would get an automobile stethoscope and listen to the timing covers, cam covers, around exhaust and the injectors.

AI started to post a rant about TSBs on this and other sites not being read but I digress.

Service Action 309-S501am is an example.

Just to update this thread I replaced all the EGR gaskets and checked the EGR pipe which looked fine but I guess a crack could appear when hot.

Noise is still there.

My car does fall into the Vin range for the above service bulletin. I was thinking about sea foaming the car to see if I got any smoke out of the engine bay.
