my 2000 XJR (non-CAT) is due for (suspension) springs replacement. Most of what I could find online is springs for X100 (XK) only.

I think they are mechanically identical but some old threads mentioned their spring setups were different. can someone confirm this with solid information ?

I need the sport type being a R not comfort setup, probably stock height. otherwise I would take the lower version.

not sure I have to mention I have upgraded the shocks to GANZ adjustable version.

 

But why are you wanting to replace a high tension sprung steel coil? If your ride height is correct there would seem no need to replace them.

As far as XK springs, that is a different weight vehicle (X308 max load 4972lbs vs x100 4422lbs) and have not seen any listings that shows they are compatible. Sure you could probably put the spring in, but performance would be different (softer) and you spent money on those GAZ shocks and that would almost assuredly put undo stress on them. Thus the spring load is different and spring height is as well.

here is some updates of my research.

I spoke with both Mina Gallery from LA and Powerhouse UK. Both vendors sold out the X308 springs and they will NOT make another batch of production and both confirmed with me that the X100 will NOT fit on X308..kind of. While the rear pair should but interchangeable but definitely not the front springs.

two more possible options now perhaps 3 .
Arden from Germany still sells the springs but price is not too friendly (as everything from Arden)
X300 (XJ6) as I was told it should fit and the closest thing we can get in the market.

last ...I have go for the a complete set brand new shock and springs combo...all adjustable.
