Petrol flood

HI
Please can anyone advise me about the fuel problem i have at the moment.

Following the replacement of the two heater pipes below the inlet manifold, i refitted the manifold and throttle body, together with all the other components and now have fuel problems.

On trying to start the motor it nearly fired up, but did not quite make it,there was a noise from under the bonnet (hood us speak)like a hissing noise, and fuel flooded out from beneath the car.

I understand these cars are prone to being over rich but this is something different.

Please help

It appears i never fitted the bracket correctly on the fuel pressure regulator, and had fuel all over the floor, its now fitted correctly and no fuel leak.
Just the usual engine flooding common to these v8's so we are getting there
i think.
