Recommended tires

What tires would you guys recommend for a 2003 Vanden Plas? I was thinking Cooper Touring tires. I am not going drive the car in snow, just summer driving.

'98 VDP, 131,100.

I put on a set of Yokohama Avid V4s about a year ago and have been very happy with them. Smooth, quiet ride, crisp handling, and great wet weather (rain, not snow) traction.
