So in trying to troubleshoot my crank but no run issue I disconnected my BPM to take some readings. Then I put it back and I get a rapidly flashing red light on the shifter area.

I forgot to unhook the battery when removing and installing the module.

I’ve searched here and on Google, but can’t find out what I did wrong or how to clear it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

I am not sure if it will help but it sure won't hurt. Try a Hard Reset with the battery. Remove the ground cable and hold it against the positive cable for about a minute and then reconnect and see if it will clear the fault. You will have to reset windows and seats but it might solve the problem.

Follow-up:

Flashing red light was caused by having the module laying on a ground instead of bolting it down tightly.
