Default Shiny, chromy thingy — in English?

The shiny thing to the left..?If I were to google for what is missing to the right, what would I call it?

My car is very nice inside out, but I'm missing two of those. I don't even have any idea as to what they are called in Norwegian...

Answers or suggestions would be highly appreciated

Grab handle cover. I haven't seen the chrome ones myself, but just for reference, here's a quick link for regular ones:

https://jaguar.socalbritishparts.com...wd=&origin=pla

Note: As luck would have it, I just realized that the link I sent has a description of Stainless Steel. Um.. cheers?

They were originally stainless steel, then later changed to chrome plastic. It seems early models had them fitted across the range then later they were reserved for higher spec cars. Judging from what I've seen on scrapers I've harvested bits from.
I always grab these items though, very handy to have spare.

They are available in plastic AND metal. But if you have chrome, they are metal. I might actually have a couple laying around here, but I think it would cost more to send it to Norway than the buying price in Norway...

Oh, btw., 4 handles look better inside the car And can be retrofitted if you cut the holes in the plastic roof trim. The bolt holes are already in the metal. I always thought the car looked "unfinished" with only 3 handles...

The 2001 Daimler Super V8 interior I had fitted in my previous XJ had chromed plastic items fitted, I let them go with the interior as the metal stainless items are more robust.

Here's a pic of the chromed plastic ones.

Thank you all, I ordered the ones in steel. If they look too new I think I'll have them on the same handle.

Three..? Would look silly, wouldn't it..? Mine has four.

Well I've just gone and bought 6 shiny chrome end covers for my Sovereign,I say 6 because yes I only have 3 grab handles so that's something else I have to look for.
Never noticed the covers until Terje Rye Korsvik raised the subject,I think they will look better.
Thanks and enjoy your cars

I can understand it's all in the details, were your caps missing Terje?

btw can someone explain why 4 grab handles are necessary?

I was going to look for another grab handle but changed my mind,I would never use it anyway but did change my plastic ones to stainless though looks a treat.

I also would like to know

I found a photo of a grab handle without the chrome, just in case you wanted to see.

Now that looks all of a sudden rather un-jaguar compared to the chrome ones.
Like a steering wheel without the wood.
