Hi,

I have a sapphire blue XJ8 which has a small almost white line that runs the length of each side. This is just stuck onto the car On the drivers side passanger door this came unstuck. Does anyone know where I can get more of this tape from?

It is the same as shown on the car link below - the very small tape that runs the length of the car within the grove

It isnt tape its painted and a pain in the as to remove when you want to remaove it.

Its only pinstriping so any paintshop should be able to help you fill it in.

 

Some aftermarket pinstripes can be decals, not paint. I've seen it applied to a few cars, but it is pretty rare. It's the budget way of doing it.

Seriously, take the rest of it off. Makes the car look silly with it on. But if you really want it, any autobody shop should be able to apply some more.

 

Cheers for the replies - it is a physical sticker so ideally just need to find a bit more of this. I'll pop along to a local body shop and see if they can find an easy solution (that won't cost me an arm and a leg)
