Default Supercharger out, coolant lines in

Hey all,

I am going through the valley hose replacement in my daughter's XJR (used to be mine) and wondered- do I need to replace the fuel line hose at the front? It looks rubber, but is it metal underneath? I don't want to remove the S/C twice because it leaks... it hasn't leaked so far.

It connects to the injector rails and goes under the front of the S/C.... Anyone?

JTIS calls it a crossover "pipe".

Never heard of it leaking.

Is there any flex at all to indicate it is a hose rather than hard pipe?

See 303-04 in JTIS because it is also referenced in 310-xx. The 303-04 section has better pictures showing the end fitting which is a flange and seal.

No, it just made a slight crackling noise- which could either be a crack, or just the outer part being dry and brittle.

This job is a BEAR the first time, but I can see how it would be faster the next.

Which job? Getting the pipe off or the sc+hoses?

Getting the S/C and hoses R&R'd, although I am glad I slept on it and decided to take off the intake bypass instead of trying to get a wrench in there!!! (Which was my initial plan)
