wheel alignment - what settings are you running?

If you know the exact alignment settings you are running, please post them and your subjective view of your vehicle's behaviour with those settings. The settings would be under the "actual" section of the post alignment printout. Or, if you do your own ... then you know them ;)

An idea of the time or miles that have passed since the alignment was last checked as well as the particular model and market would be helpful. The models would be XJ, VDP, XJR.

Note that this is limited to X308 settings as the suspension setup is particular to that chassis.

Wow - that looks like an old Formula Vee (or is it V?) with motorcycle tires.

I believe it is neutral toe on the XJR and -.8 F -1 R

Yes, but the specs' are a wide range and some people run out of spec by their own choice. What I am after is feedback on the feel of the car as related to specific alignment settings.

I don't know the specs off hand but if you would like, you can use my car as reference. I have even tire wear as of about 10,000km on my snows.

To be clear, finding the factory alignment specifications as contained in JTIS and the Jaguar Vehicle Specifications Handbook is easy.

However, the factory specifications allow some broad leeway as to range. Additionally, there are some owners who run alignments that are of their own design.

The theoretical underpinnings on the effect of changes in each setting are also pretty well known and can even be modelled in packaged suspension analysis software.

What I am really after is sensory feedback from owners who know their specific alignment measurements. Especially for the rear. The goal is a personalised set of alignment settings that works for a specific set of preferences. No doubt there will be some trial and error. But, knowing how certain settings affect the X308 in real world use would be helpful in minimising that work.

And for the enjoyment of all:
