Anyone knows where I can get some HID for my 1999 XJ8? I went the other days to a place to get it done but the base of my car is sort of long and the HID light stays halfway in. If they installed it this way my base of the hole will burn. So I am asking if anyone has replace their regular beam headlights to HID without making any modifications.

Crosbo has produced a very useful install guide for HIDs in here, including photos and where to get stuff from. Do a member search or a topic search and you should find it ok. Hope this helps. S.
