Default X350 Grille Emblem on X308?

Wondering if a grille emblem from an 04+ will fit in a 98 XJR? The emblem in question is part number C2C25678. I just hate how the factory X308 one is so dull and "dirty" looking.

The emblem on the left I would even be more satisfied with...mine is just a dark pewter / pot metal color. Dull gray and some black. No amount of polishing changes it.

that's my original with flash, I 'think' they're clear coated and it's as you described in the hand, dull. I'm not a fan of the later growler, the 308's is the same as the E Type's design.

Hmm, I will search around. Or maybe these can be plated/dipped

I don't like mine either. Are they easy to remove and replace? I'd be interested in something nicer.

They're held on with two guide pins and trim tape, a heat gun and plastic trim tool should see it come away with a bit of patience.
