That’s going to be a fun ride when you’re done with it. Depending on how you drive, you might have a hard time keeping diffs in it? I know I would. Not that it would strengthen the gears but, you may want to look into a Quaife vs doing one wheel peels all day.

403hp/410trq stock. So not much more than an XJR. KN intake and reprogramed fuel/ignition table will add some but not a lot. I have another diff in my XJR parts car if I blow the current one. Might think of spending the $ for the Quaife if that happens.

Fly-by-wire accelerator pedal mounted where ECM and TCM were. Cable from Jag pedal will come through aluminum mount and attach to pedal. Have to figure correct attachment on pedal so Jag max travel equals GM max travel.
Purchased Camaro for $7,400, XJ8 for $1,400 and XJR for $3,900. Just sold XJR engine. Total parts sold off all three cars adds to $10,455. XJR transmission and numerous other parts from XJR and Camaro still available.

That's excellent self-funding build arbitrage. My Camaro donor car arrives within the next hour or so. Am hoping for similar cost recovery. My XJR was $1,600. Fingers crossed...

Remember the big $ for the XJR cats. See my post. Besides the kit price, my only big expense has been the drive shaft. I can give you that guy’s name and also someone to reflash the ECU if you don’t have someone local.
Hints if you ever do it: (1) use three people, two to loose mount on pins and one to make sure wires/connectors don’t get caught behind dash; and (2) do bolts in picture first so can push dash up to align holes.
Black interior of 2001 XJR parts car switched into 2002 project car which was tan. Really like the black/white combo and black leather was near pristine. Lot of hours but worth it.
Changed fuel filter and drained gas tank. When filter off, hooked tube to fuel line. Jumped relay in trunk to run pump. Hard to get wire into relay slots so broken open an extra relay as in pics.
That should keep you busy for a bit... Can't wait until my kit gets here from Andrew. Finally moved the 2000 XJR back into the garage so it's at least in the right place to "start" being a project car/LS-swap recipient.

Found online the diagram for the Camaro ECM that shows the pins and wire colors. I’ll send to you when you need it.
Quaife in x308 diff will help avoiding to destroy the small gears. But the pinon gear is still mis aligned to sun gear. It will work if you do not burn tires or send it from the stand still all the time.
