Oh, they can afford it, no problem. Those guys treat them like hire cars. Thrash it 'till you're done, move onto the next thing and forget about it. The next thing is probably a Lear or a 150ft yacht, so the Jags no biggie really. I live in London and when I go into town (Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Regents Park area) they're all over the place. Aventador with neons anyone? McLarens, Ferrari's, Aston One Seven Seven, Bugatti's all over the place. Many are Mansori modified or similar, lots of wraps and paint jobs, and loud exhausts too. Cool to watch.

Sometimes the police impound them as none of them have insurance. Why would they? As far as they are concerned they could buy your whole life in a heartbeat. There is a You Tube channel called shmee150 - he shows you what Russian's and Arab's get up to in London with their toys. :icon_clapclap:

Probably nothing that a good bath, an oil change and an air filter wouldn't fix.

If it's free, I'll take it. Would even pay the shipping to the US.

Think about abandoned supercars like this every time you buy fuel...

I saw something about this a while back and would travel over to U.A.E and buy one then drive it back to the U.K, however from what I read, most of the supercars are left because of the economic crash as has been said but they were impounded by the state. There appears to be VERY complicated legislation to negotiate in order to buy one of the cars which either makes it impossible or very costly. I did consider it and there are videos on youtube and I think Mike Brewer did a short article on it somewhere. If anyone knows anything different about how to buy one, please share, as I am sure there are many other supercars to be had in similar circumstances, sandblasting is a standard feature :)
