where are they, vids of racing 220s
back in mid 90s, Ford offered XJ 220s for racing on small USA race tracks,OVALS.
it was a publicity program on USA TV. it was only accomplished race drivers allowed. they actually scraped and banged each other, putting dents into the cars. and as usual i cant remmeber the name, somthing like race of the TITANS, or the GREATS, some such. those videos would make great watching, they must be available somewhere?? it also reduced the number of available 220s,some crushed, deemed not rebuildable. a SAD day in automobile history. |
Past Masters, commonly known as Crash Masters? I would love to see the videos too.:)

like i said ,,somebody must have them, most likly some ford archive.
gosh, you dont think they destroyed them along with a number of cars!! |
The racing series was called "Fast Masters" and it's debut was in 1993. I also remember the series.
As per the attached article, it was created by TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing) and Lingner Group, where legendary drivers would race in identical Jaguar XJ220S cars at Indianapolis.
