Your 3.2L may be equipped with the hydraulically-controlled ZF 4HP22 transmission rather than the electronically-controlled 4HP24. If it's the former, you won't have the Sport mode option. If it's the latter, you just might.
The easiest way to tell which gearbox you have may be to pull the transmission dip stick and look at the white plastic tab on its lower end. The model of the gearbox may be molded into the tab.
If the model isn't molded into the tab, you can either look behind the passenger side knee bolster for a Transmission Control Module (TCM):

Or, look on the left side of the transmission for an electrical connector that looks like this:

If you find a TCM and/or the electrical connector, you have an electronically-controlled gearbox that just may offer Sport mode if your wiring harness has the connector for the Sport mode switch near the J-gate.

If you didn't change the box yourself (or a previous owner) you have the 4hp22 box. Only 4.0 litre engines had the 4hp24 box.
If you have the original box, as I expect, there is nothing electronic to it, so a sport button wont do anything.
When you have the 4hp24 box, you would have to make significant changes to the loom, as it has a tranmission control unit which is connected to the microprocessor and the ecm. therefore it seems unlikely to me that anybody would consider such a swap.
