Hello friends. I have a 91 XJ6 with 36K miles. I had a loud humming coming from my fuel tank so I thought it was my fuel pump. I ordered a new in-tank pump from rockauto and had it installed. About 2 days later, it’s humming loudly again. Could I have got a faulty new pump? Could the noise be something else? It’s ANNOYING as hell when I drive this beautiful machine.

I have a 18 second video of the sound. Can someone instruct me on how to post up a short video?

FYI - The car drives perfectly otherwise. It also drove flawlessly BEFORE I swapped the pump. I only swapped it because I thought it was humming.
