Hello fellow Jag owners, Yesterday I drove my '88 Jag XJ40 home from Rotterdam. It was shipped from Portland Oregon to the Netherlands and it's a dream. While capdriving on the Highway I got a Fuel Failure sign, was able to drive max 92 km/hour and pulled into a Fuelstation. Removed the tanksealknob ans heard a fssssjjj sound and everything was back to normal. Seems like it had a vacuum, does this ring any bells ?. The seals do work, but should a make a hole in the cap ? or somewhere else ?
