Default Head gasket!!!!

Anyone know of a good place to get a head gasket and bolts for an 89 XJ6 with I think a 3.6L in it??

Need head bolts too...

Coventry West quoted me $235.60 for gasket and 14 bolts @ $6.99 each.

Try sng barratt (they have warehouses world wide) also your local parts stores, the head gasket should be between $60-$70.

Set for 139.00: Cylinder Head Gasket Set - JLM113

Bolts 6.39 ea: Cylinder Head Bolt - EBC1771

Total for the job 228 usd plus shipping. I reused most of my bolts but thats the gasket set I have and she has done well so far. I have a 4.0 but according to JEPC the 3.6 and 4.0 use the same setup. I am partial to MotorCars though :P

Default Parts sources

I managed to get lucky, and discovered a company called Partsgeek.com .
I can't say enough good things about them.

Their prices tend to be the best, better than SNG Barrett and Jagbits. The service is excellent, quality is too.

I have purchased A LOT of stuff from them over the last couple of years, including parts for the XJ, a Grand Cherokee, a Volvo V70, a '68 Benz and an '89 Dodge D100 pickup.

Couldn't be happier with Partsgeek.com .

Best -

Jeff
