Default I ordered the wrong a/c blower motor! Help me re-pin the connector

As the title says, I ordered the wrong part. The car is a US spec 1993 Jaguar XJ6. I ordered part # CCC7446 which turns out to be for the 1994 XJ6 blower motor. I should have ordered the correct part which is CCC6026.

The 93 has a black connector in the upper left quadrant whereas the
94 has a white connector there. The two do NOT have the same exact colored wires. They have different color wires and are hard to trace as to where they are connected to on the other end.

I want to still use the 94 blower motor but with wires re-pinned to the 93 black connector. I need someone to tell me how to re-pin the the wires from the 94 connector part so that the wires are in the correct position when transfered to the black 93 connector. Or else I must get the right part and they are not easy to find. Diagrams or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks gents.

There is a link lead made for that blower change-over. That will fix you up.

LEAD-LINK - Terrys Jaguar Parts - LMD3602BA

Cheers,

Default blower motor lead link no longer available. a/c problem

I called terry's jaguar and they said that the lead link is no longer available.
I need both lead links LMD3602BA and
LMD3602AA.

Does anyone know where else I may get these parts?

Or, how do i go about repining the connectors to fit?

Hi supra-raleigh,

You might try some of the other suppliers, such as forum sponsors SNG Barratt and Jagbits, as well as Coventry West and Welsh Enterprises. It might also be worth checking with online Jaguar dealers such as jaguarmerriamparts.com and gaudinjaguarparts.com.

I have the '93 Electrical Guide but I don't have the '94. If anyone else has the '94 schematics perhaps we can compare notes and help you figure out the wiring.

Cheers,

Don
