Default Thermal paste or Di-electric Grease?

Replacing my ignition amplifier on a '92XJ 40. Have been getting conflicting advice on what to put under amplifier where it touches metal plate mounted to frame. Do I want Thermal paste to help dissipate heat and ensure good ground or DI-electric grease? I'm sure a new amplifier comes with something and directions, but I picked up (2) from local donor cars with no info. Can one of you Techs clarify for all of us?

Use die-electric grease, recommended by Jag.
