Where is the manifold vacuum line in an XJ40?

More like how do you tell which hose it is?

Are you talking about the hose that connects to the fuel pressure regulator?

You'll find one end on the fuel rail towards the front of the engine. My understanding is that the other end connects to the underside of the manifold (where a normal person can't fit their hands in!)

I think that's it. I read you hook it up to a can of sea foam and it helps clean your fuel system.
