Xj6 main bolts
In rebuilding my xj6 (1990) I have run into a problem locating ner main bearing bolt.It is recomended to use new ones when rebuilding,but I have not been able to find any (does anyone out there know where i might get them).I have also read that you can reuse the originals (I dont want to but may have to at a last resort.One more thing what is the grade of these bolts,are they grade 8 or higher. Thanks for any help on this.

Jaguar issued a TSB for reusing bolts.
I have snapped a head bolt ONCE with the reuse twice method and managed to put a dab of epoxy on the broken bolt and dropping it onto the threaded part and let it sit overnight. I removed the broken one and reinserted another used bolt and everything was good.
I think that reuse ONCE is all I would consider because twice is pushing it!!
