Default 1974 xj6 4.2 oil filter?
Went to autozone, only had one option, Fram, who doesn't carry it anymore. Every time I search I can only find info on 76 and above. Any help would be appreciated. Also air filter? Thanks!

Oil filter Wix 51337....which is same as NAPA 1337

I doubt that anyone except a Jag specialist will have one on the shelf but NAPA, Autozone, etc should be able to order one for you

Not sure about an air filter.

I buy JLM9546 from SNG Barratt USA for my '75 engine. They typically have them in stock when you call. You get a discount (5%?) when you let them know you're a member of this forum.

Filters that fit 4.2 XK engine (unless it is the Series 1 that still has the replaceable element type filter). Quick ebay search will bring most of them up.
