Hey guys what ate the carbys on a s2

And is there anything I should know about tuning them

Hi Steve , if they look like the pics attached they are SU HS8, but you could have HD8 or I have heard speak of some possibly having Zenith Stromberg(not sure about that for certain). Can you post a picture of the carbys so someone can identify them.
If they are HS8 the link below is worth reading.

Those look like HS8's to me. Same as mine.

They look like HS8 to me too.But Ii am a novis.
But that oil filter part number is very interesting,It is a Ryco filter?(Z13...5 I think,please confirm)
As I can not find a Ryco listed filter to fit my S1 and had to get one on bay.

Maybe Grant Francis will jump into help here ,identifying your carbs. I am sure they are HS8 as HD's have the mixture adjustment screw at the bottom of the carby. The HS8 has a jet tube from the bottom of the fuel bowl to the jet. It is a rubber fuel hose with a spring on the outside. An HD8 has a solid alloy moulding for this.
