Default 1986 Series III V12 transmission oil cooler?

Was a transmission oil cooler factory installed on a 1986 Series III V12?
If not, is it a good idea to fit one?

All auto transmissions have a method to cool the fluid. Just get under and you should see two lines.

As to a supplemental, views differ.

It is incorporated in the engine cooling radiator

Yes....if you have some reason to believe the existing cooler isn't enough for your driving habits or conditions.
