1994 XJ12 mod

Hello,

This is my first post, so let me introduce myself. I am Christian, 18 years old, and a car enthusiast. I am looking to buy a 1994 Jaguar XJ12, 6.0L, with about 100K. I am intrested in it bacause of the 12V. I have some capital to work with, and I wanted to buy it, change the transmission to 6 speed manual, restore the engine, which I have done in the past on other cars, and twin turbo charge it. I would be looking on adding just some normal T3-T4 turbos, generating something like 300bhp each, which would bring the total to about 900bhp. I know how to do everything I mentioned, and other things like the exhaust and other parts would be restored or replaced with preformance parts. What does everyone think? I can get it for a good price, and money is not a problem.
I have been wondering if there is room for the twin turbos. In the case that there isn't, then would have to add on about a foot to the length of the front end to fit everything. Has anyone ever done something like this before? I just like it cause 1st, it's a jag, a nice one on top of that, 2nd, it looks like a jag sedan should, and 3rd, it's got the 12v, which with proper maintanance and modifications could easily handle 190-210mph. This car would be used only on the track, 1/4mile etc.

Any comments are welcomed.

Christian

I also forgot, a 1985 Jaguar XJS, 5.3L, V12 is also available. I know this should go under the xjs part, but this is more of a comparison. I would be doing the same modifications to it as the XJ12.....so which will give me the better results? 0-60, 0-100, 1/4mile, top speed.

Thanks
Christian

The XJS will handle better at higher speeds.

Thank you for the answer. I think I am going to go with the xjs. I have been looking at it a lot.

XJ40s are my faves but mind that I am a 4 doors sedan guy than two doors .Since you will spend a pretty money on your car why not buy an LS7 engine ? It fitted in a Maserati and I believe it should fit in XJ40 too .
6.2 V8 but can sweep V12 .If you're still insist on V12 then keep your original Jaguar engine
