So I recently got my V12 home and after much set backs due to other priorities I've finally begun to make head way in rebuilding the engine. After, removing most of the wiring, fuel rails, etc. I reached the Intakes and while I removed the bolts ans washers the intake will not come off. The bolts do not seem corroded, so I'm wondering if I forget to remove anymore bolts near the back of the intake?

The Front is loose, but the rear seems bolted on tight. Any suggestions, prior experiences, and or advice?

 

Did you buy the whole car or just the engine? You might want to post this in the XJS or XJ40 (XJ81) sections also, as I don't think any of the SIII cars came with the 6.0L V12 engine.

 

Correct. The 6-litre V12 was fitted first to the XJ40 model, then a few in the X300 series. Not many 6-litre engines were made.
