'85 Vanden Plas Hood Latch Broken
 

I have a 1985 Vanden Plas with a broken right-hand hood latch. I will eventually get it repaired, but need to get in now to add coolant. Does anyone know how I can manually release the latch? Can I get in through the glove box?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I figured it out. There are holes in the wheel wells, capped with rubber grommets. Pop out the grommet, stick a screw driver straight up in the hole and push the handle toward the front of the auto. It pops the post latch and the hood opens!
