85 XJ6 - 8.5mm fuel line?
 

When I was fussing under the hood of my '85 VDP I noticed that the fuel line that feeds the fuel rail has a slight leak at the end. I tightened it up and stopped it for now, but not wanting to take chances I intend to replace the line.

Of course I've found no source of 8.5mm (or 11/32 inch) ID fuel line suitable for fuel injection pressures. I have found nylon mesh high pressure fuel line size AN-6 (apparently 8.6mm ID) but it seems like this is only for use with special end fittings, not just hose clamps. And I've found 11/32" ID transmission cooler line, good for 300 PSI, but no mention of fuel usage. And plenty of 5/16" or 3/8" high pressure fuel hose.

So which of the above will work? I have read about other people using 3/8" ID hose, but I'm nervous about using a bigger size. Have you folks used that without leaks?

3/8 and 5/16 will work fine. I've re-hoses several Series III Jags with those sizes. No problem.
