The radio code is to prevent theives from using the radio in another car. Its 4 or 5 numbers, I forget which, been awhile since doing mine. If you have all the original paperwork on the car, there may be a code written down somewhere in the part explaining the radio. The code may also be written on the radio case, but you'll have to remove the radio to see. Failing that, a dealer will have to get it for you, after showing proof that you own the car. Jaguar dealers are pretty good about protecting ownership, such as trying to have a replacement key made. I've also heard some owners say they found the code written on the underside of the hood, but considering the age of most of these cars, I wouldn't count on that. Good luck. Keith.

 

As a PS to my post, don't try entering just any numbers, each successive wrong number will shut the radio down for longer time periods each time you enter a wrong number.
