AC blower wont stay on
Hi , i have a 1976 XJ6L with a chevy 350 . It has an air conditioning issue. The AC works, but the fan turns itself off after a minute. After a few minutes, it will work again if i flip the switch around . I tried a universal switch for the fan .it works with the ac off, but as soon as i plug in the AC power ,the fan dies .could it be the AC blower thermal overload switch? if so can i bypass it ? where is it in the car? other things i should add ,The AC manifold hi side reads 275 and the low reads 50. I put a new compressor in after the AC lines popped at 300 psi. i have a new dryer and its converted to 134a with an a6 compressor .
