haha alright thanks. I've just seen my car as an Xj6 but now when I look around more it also says its an XJ 40. that's why I was a tad confused :)

Not a bother, the forum is set out using the factory designations. So even if your car has a whopping great XJ6 badge on the rear it will still be an XJ40.
